Tips for Selecting Broadacre Nozzles
Suggested spray quality and application volumes for a range of spraying situations.
Often a single nozzle will not be able to do all of the spray tasks that the operator may require, however with at least
two well chosen nozzles most operations should be able to be completed.
It is useful for applicators to consider the range of jobs they may do throughout the season, and group similar jobs
by application volume and spray quality required. The diagram below summarises this for either high or low volume
applications, with either a coarse or larger spray quality or a medium spray quality.

In the above example, a low pressure air-induction such as an AirMix nozzle, may do jobs indicated by the BLUE arrow, whereas a high pressure air-induction may be required, such as a TurboDrop or TeeJet TTI, to complete jobs indicated by the RED arrows.
Applicators should always refer to the label to confirm the spray quality and application volume requirements for each.
